The Grand Priory of Scotland forms a component part of the international Order entitled;
Latin: "Ordo Supremus Militaris Templi Heirosolymitani"
English: "Sovereign and Military Order of the Temple of Jerusalem"
French: "Ordre Souverain et Militaire du Temple de Jerusalem,"
which has a growing presence in around fifty countries and over four and a half thousand members worldwide, and since 1960 has been under the direction of H.S.H. Grand Master and Prince Regent Dom Fernando Pinto Pereira de Fontes.

Knights gather for the annual Festival of Commemoration of Saint Andrew,
Patron Saint of Scotland, held on Saturday 19th November 2011.
The Order is Chivalric in nature and endeavours to fulfill the following aims & objectives ;
(a) To carry out works of mercy, welfare and charity.
(b) To perpetuate the traditions of Knighthood and to promote these are being relevant in todays fractured and disorientated society.
(c) To encourage and promote the creation of hospitals, schools, houses of retreat etc.
We are not ;
(a) Affiliated to or with any political party, we are strictly apolitical.
(b) Masonic or affiliated in any way with Freemasonry.
(c) Any form of a historical re-enactment society.
Admittance
The Order is open to men and women without distinction to race or creed. If you wish to be considered for admittance please contact the Grand Priory via our contact page of this website.
